Introducing Channel Technology

Our dual core, featuring channel technology, distributes liquid evenly throughout the product while working alongside an acquisition layer that quickly draws fluid away from the skin. This combination reduces the risk of leakage and provides an instant feeling of dryness. Key benefits include:

These benefits are especially important in our all-in-one product category, where products are designed to manage heavy urinary and/or faecal incontinence. In these cases, channel technology helps the product absorb larger gushes of urine more quickly and then lock the wetness away, reducing the risk of leakage and helping to keep the skin dry.

How the Technology Works

Our advanced channel technology is integrated into the product’s dual core, which is made up of a top and bottom core, and works alongside an acquisition layer. This system works together to deliver enhanced comfort, fit and protection.

Soft top sheet with leg elastics – Ensures a secure and comfortable fit.

'Quick Dry’ acquisition layer – Quickly draws fluid away from the skin and distributes it into the absorbent core. This technology helps keep the skin dry and prevents leakage.

Dual core with top and bottom channels – The bottom core features a trident-shaped channel system to distribute liquid quickly and evenly, while the top core has a straight fluid-directing channel that guides liquid. Together with the Quick Dry acquisition layer, the dual core absorbs urine quickly, locks it away from the skin, reduces the risk of leakage and helps provide an improved fit in use.

Breathable backsheet – Promotes healthy skin by allowing airflow.

The result? Fluid is guided and distributed throughout the dual core, away from the skin, helping users feel drier, safer and more confident throughout the day, while reducing the risk of leakage.
