Attends Healthcare segments its product offering into ten types and degrees of incontinence using a numerical system introduced by the company to ensure the right product is used to manage the incontinence condition. All of the company’s products are designed to maintain the dignity of the incontinent person and give them better control of their lives.
All key Attends products have the benefit of Odour Protection technology, which prevents unpleasant smells. Several Attends product technologies are patented and therefore unique in the market: Quick-Dry, a high absorbent core material and Dri-weave, a semi-permeable membrane, which prevents the moisture from the core coming into contact with the skin.
Light Incontinence (Absorption degree 0 to 3)
Light Incontinence, or bladder weakness, can happen for a great variety of reasons: as a result of childbirth, during menopause, after severe bladder infections or an operation of the abdomen or prostate.
Attends offers several product sizes and materials for use in this category: Attends Soft and Attends Discrete for women and Attends for Men, especially designed for men.
Moderate Incontinence (Absorption degree 4 and 5)
People affected by moderate incontinence need more protection, often both day and night. They often wish to live an active life including work, travel and social activities and should therefore rely on safe yet discrete products. Attends offers several types of products in this category, ranging from Attends Discrete and Contours pads (that should be worn with special Attends fixation pants) to Attends Pull-On pants.
Severe Incontinence (Absorption degree 6 to 10)
People affected by severe incontinence need the highest degree of protection. Since these users vary widely in their degree of mobility and body shape, a large range of product sizes and fixation techniques is needed to secure optimum dryness, discretion and dignity. The Attends range includes Attends Contours shaped pads, Attends Pull-On pants and the newly launched Attends S Form Slip, which distinguishes itself from other slips through its skin friendliness and unique fixation system.
